BETWEEN MIND AND BODY
Brand Experience
for Integrated Wellness

Art direction and project management by Elena Lazzara for Germano Gioielli — a heritage storytelling composition featuring Gallo Alfonsi's historic goldsmith workshop, the Trevi Fountain (Rome), Germano Alfonsi at work on the bas-relief that inspired the maison's logo, alongside a fine jewelry collection, a goldsmithing collection, and a model holding a necklace from the collection.

FROM LOGO TO SYSTEM

The Starting Point

In Albano Laziale, in the Castelli Romani, the beauty center Between Mind and Body was born from the many years of experience of Romina Alba, a professional specialized in beauty treatments, massage, and personal growth programs.
The center already existed with its own identity — logo, packaging, an initial website — but that visual system no longer reflected the depth of the project it was becoming: not merely a place for treatments, but a space designed for psychophysical balance in its entirety.
The rebranding work began with a precise choice: to preserve the existing logo, an element already recognized locally, and rebuild everything else — site architecture, visual system, tone of voice, user experience — around that mark.

A STRUCTURE THAT TELLS A JOURNEY

The Digital Architecture

The new website organizes the offering into five treatment macro-areas — Face, Body, Hands, Feet, Hair Removal — presented from the homepage through a system of circular icons that invites intuitive navigation even before informative browsing.
The color palette, built on lilac, sage green, and mustard gold on a light background, echoes the floral delicacy of the original logo and carries it into a contemporary digital language — warm yet orderly.
Each service section is designed to guide the user from a concrete need — a booking, a specific treatment — toward a broader perception of the center as a place of total care, consistent with the claim “Harmony for mind and body” that runs through the entire experience.

The image features a composite mockup on a black background: a laptop tilted at a 3/4 angle displaying the homepage, alongside a smartphone showing the mobile version. Warm lighting and golden reflections echo the brand's signature palette in a high-impact, "boutique-style" showcase composition.

A SPACE ENTIRELY DEDICATED TO WOMEN

Women’s Space

Within the digital ecosystem, Women’s Space represents a project within the project: an autonomous editorial area, with its own dedicated pink palette, designed to host events, workshops, and gatherings aimed exclusively at a female audience.
The section dialogues with the rest of the site while maintaining stylistic continuity — same typography, same essential visual register — yet distinguishes itself through its own color and editorial tone, able to immediately convey the specificity of the initiative.
The three-pillar structure — Events, Workshops, Meetings — transforms a community-building activity, often handled informally on social media, into a genuine, structured digital touchpoint, with a clear invitation to continue the relationship on Instagram.

Spherical structure in brushed gold with intricate engravings, opening like a shell against a black background. Inside, it encloses a pearlescent sphere bearing the logo of the beauty center Tra Mente e Corpo, located in Albano Laziale (Province of Rome). Engraved on the outer shell, in Latin lettering, is the inscription "SPHERICAL METHOD" — the design methodology created by Elena Lazzara and applied to visual strategy, branding, visual design, and the communication ecosystem for the wellness sector.

THE SPHERICAL METHOD IN ACTION

THE SPHERICAL METHOD
IN ACTION

In this project, the Spherical Method took its cue from a constraint rather than a blank page: the existing logo had to remain the fixed center around which every other decision would be built.
From there, the work consisted of connecting seemingly distant elements — the floral delicacy of the brand, the rigor required by a service-based e-commerce, and the broader need to convey wellness as a total experience rather than a sum of individual treatments.
This approach made it possible to identify the essence of the brand — the balance between aesthetic care and personal care — and translate it into two coherent yet distinct levels: the main site, structured by service, and Women’s Space, built as its own relational space.
What distinguishes this application of the method from a purely graphic approach is precisely this: coherence does not stem from visual uniformity imposed from above, but from the ability to let different identities coexist — the same studio, two tones, a single guiding principle.

RESULTS AND VISION

A System Ready to Grow

The result is a digital ecosystem in which every section — from basic treatments to Women’s Space events — shares a recognizable visual language while maintaining its own specific voice.
A structure conceived not as an endpoint, but as a platform capable of welcoming new content, initiatives, and pathways as the center continues to evolve.
