POSITIONING AND IDENTITY

A Creative Universe

Mauro Vitale brings together, within a single professional path, artistic research, a culture of wellness, and design projects dedicated to living spaces. A figurative painter, yoga and meditation teacher, holistic practitioner, and an active participant in initiatives focused on the design of healthy environments, he has built over the years a rich body of work encompassing pieces, experiences, content, and activities.
The digital project was born from the need to give this universe a recognizable structure, capable of highlighting every area without fragmenting it.
The intervention involved the website and the artist’s entire digital presence, including visual identity, logo, business card, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, transforming a communication built up gradually over time into a coordinated system.

CONTENT ARCHITECTURE

Ordering Complexity

The main design challenge was to transform years of activity into a legible digital experience.
An extensive body of paintings coexists with yoga, meditation, reflexology, audiovisual content, training, special projects, and initiatives dedicated to the wellness of living environments.
UX and information architecture turned this richness into a navigable structure, distinguishing the main territories of the Vitale universe and creating clear paths for different audiences, interests, and intentions.
The architecture does not eliminate variety, but organizes it through hierarchies, categories, and relationships, allowing users to quickly understand where they are and which direction to follow.

PICTORIAL ATLAS

The Journey as Visual Matter

PICTORIAL ATLAS

The Journey as Visual Matter

The Art section was designed as a true digital archive of Mauro Vitale’s pictorial production.
A very extensive body of works is organized into thematic clusters — portraits, family and animal portraits, landscapes, and miscellanea — turning the vastness of the archive into a browsable, legible system.
Within the landscapes, geography becomes a narrative key. Cuba, Portugal, Mexico, Africa, India, and other territories crossed by the artist serve as coordinates through which to explore works born from the experience of travel.
Place is therefore not merely a cataloguing detail, but an integral part of the pictorial imagination.
Technique, too, takes on an identity-defining role: the use of the palette knife, developed by Vitale into a personal signature, becomes a perceptual element through which to recognize the texture, color, and gestural force of his painting.

THE TERRITORY OF WELLNESS

THE TERRITORY OF WELLNESS

Practices for Inner Balance

The second major territory of the digital ecosystem brings together the activities dedicated to wellness: Yoga, Meditation, and Reflexology.
The structure distinguishes practices, individual paths, training, and digital content, while maintaining a coherent relationship among the different activities.
The meditation section integrates the audiovisual heritage developed on the YouTube channel, while reflexology includes both individual sessions and the training activity carried out through Tao Ro.Ma.
Yoga is presented as an individual experience and a practice oriented toward bodily awareness.
The digital project thus makes accessible a wealth of experiences that, before the intervention, was scattered across different channels and materials.

GARDEN MA.GIA.

Designing Wellness

GARDEN MA.GIA.

Designing Wellness

Garden Ma.Gia introduces a further design dimension into the ecosystem: the wellness of the domestic environment.
The project sees Mauro Vitale collaborate with two professionals specializing in the creation of indoor and outdoor gardens, designing green spaces within homes through the use of plants capable of contributing to air quality and to the creation of healthier environments.
The presence of Garden Ma.Gia broadens the concept of wellness beyond the individual dimension. Body, mind, and environment come into relationship through a project in which greenery becomes a functional, aesthetic, and perceptual element.
Within the site, this activity is therefore integrated without merging with Mauro’s personal practices: it is an autonomous project belonging to the same universe of values, extending its field of action.

JC PROJECT

The Spiritual
Translated into Matter

JC is an autonomous project born from a profound spiritual experience lived by Mauro Vitale and developed through an artistic and symbolic narrative.
The project relates two expressions of the same subject: the paintings created by Mauro and a jewel-microsculpture created by goldsmith Gianluca Merlonghi.
The figure of JC, evoked through the language of painting and goldsmithing, becomes the center of a personal quest in which spiritual experience, matter, and representation meet.
The digital design conveys this relationship through a dedicated narrative, allowing visitors to understand the meaning of the project and to follow the connection between the pictorial work, the jewel, and the experience that gave rise to it.

COORDINATED IDENTITY

Beyond the Website

COORDINATED IDENTITY

Beyond the Website

The work involved Mauro Vitale’s entire digital presence, not just the design of the website.
Logo, business card, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube were brought together under a shared visual direction, creating continuity across the different points of contact.
The strategy made it possible to overcome the fragmentation typical of personal identities built up over time, turning every channel into a recognizable part of the same system.
The website becomes the center of the ecosystem, while social media and audiovisual content amplify its presence and guide the user toward deeper levels of engagement.

THE SPHERICAL METHOD IN ACTION

THE SPHERICAL METHOD
IN ACTION

In the Mauro Vitale project, the Spherical Method is applied as a tool for interpreting and organizing a multidisciplinary identity.
The starting point is not the reduction of activities to a single definition, but the search for the principle that allows painting, yoga, meditation, reflexology, JC Project, and Garden Ma.Gia to coexist within a recognizable system.
The design therefore works on the relationships between the parts.
Art and wellness maintain their own autonomy while being connected through a shared architecture.
The paintings become a structured archive; the travels become narrative coordinates; the practices become paths; the video content becomes an extension of the experience; JC becomes an autonomous narrative project; Garden Ma.Gia extends the concept of wellness from the person to the space.
The advantage lies in the ability to manage a large volume of content without sacrificing identity, depth, or recognizability. Rather than applying a standard model to a complex professional figure, the system is built starting from the relationships already present within his universe.
It is this capacity to let a structure emerge from within complexity, rather than imposing an external simplification, that distinguishes the spherical approach from a traditional identity restyling or a simple reorganization of content.

EXPERIENCE AND CONVERSION

From Discovery
to Relationship

EXPERIENCE AND CONVERSION

From Discovery to Relationship

The UX design was oriented toward transforming the breadth of the archive into paths capable of guiding the user toward a concrete action: getting to know the artist, exploring the works, delving into a practice, watching a meditation, discovering JC Project, understanding Garden Ma.Gia, or getting in touch for a specific activity.
Each area has its own logic of use, but all converge within the same digital architecture. This makes it possible to serve different audiences at once — collectors, art enthusiasts, people interested in wellness, users seeking individual practices, or professionals interested in environmental projects — without creating competing paths or semantic confusion.
The website thus becomes not merely an archive, but a tool for relationship and conversion: every piece of content can represent an entry point toward a broader experience.

RESULT

A Digital Ecosystem
in Balance

The result is a digital presence capable of representing the complexity of Mauro Vitale without turning it into fragmentation.
Painting, travel, yoga, meditation, reflexology, the spiritual research of JC, and the design of green environments through Garden Ma.Gia all find their place within a unified yet non-homogenizing system.
The project integrates Creative Direction, Art Direction, Visual Strategy, UX Design, Visual Design, Branding, AI Strategy, and Consulting to build a platform in which content, identity, and navigation paths work together.
The value of the result lies not only in the order achieved, but in the possibility of making legible a universe that continues to evolve. The website becomes a digital organism capable of welcoming new works, new content, new practices, and new projects while maintaining a coherent structure.
Art, person, and environment are thus brought together into a shared vision: an ecosystem in which creativity becomes experience and wellness becomes a culture of living.
