Since 2003, Elena Lazzara’s research has evolved through the study of the Sphere as a recurring principle across numerous disciplines.
From physics to sport, from music to mathematics, from economics to philosophy, from architecture to astronomy, and on to psychology, chemistry, engineering, and art, the Sphere emerges as a universal structure capable of connecting seemingly distant languages, phenomena, and bodies of knowledge into a single, unified vision.
This research has developed over time through theoretical study, artistic experimentation, observation, and design practice, building a body of knowledge that feeds into Spherical Art and, subsequently, the Spherical Method.

Spherical Art represents the first expression of Elena Lazzara’s research.
Through painting, sculpture, photography, engraving, performance, and visual experimentation, the Sphere becomes an operative language and a tool for aesthetic inquiry.
Dynamics of balance, rotation, and spatial relation translate into compositions that explore the invisible structure of forms, seeking to grasp their center and capture their essence.
This phase marks the moment in which research becomes artistic language, laying the groundwork for the methodological evolution to follow.
